The App collects real-time location data through your device’s GPS to enable location-sharing features. This data is used solely for the purpose of providing location-based services.
If you use the “Trip Reminder” feature, the App may process location data to determine whether a selected contact has arrived at, entered, left, or departed a designated area within a specified time window (a “geofence” check).
Trip Reminder is a one-way feature initiated by the user who sets the reminder. It relies on existing, mutually enabled location-sharing relationships between users.
This feature may require background location access to perform geofence-based arrival or departure checks at the specified time.
If you create an account, we may collect personal information such as your email address and other profile details. This information helps us maintain and manage your account.
We may collect information about your device, including the type of device, operating system version, and unique device identifiers, which helps us improve the functionality of the App.
We collect information about your interactions with the App, such as which features you use, how often you use them, and other performance-related data. This information helps us enhance your experience and fix bugs.
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
Your location data is used to enable location sharing and tracking, providing real-time updates to you and other users.
If you enable Trip Reminder, we use location data and Trip Reminder settings (destination, time, and reminder preferences) to perform geofence-based checks (e.g., whether a selected contact arrived, entered, or left a location by a target time) and to generate confirmations, alerts, or prompts within the App.
To support timely reminders, these checks may occur automatically at or around the target time and may occur while the App is not actively open, depending on your device settings and permissions.
Trip Reminder is a one-way feature initiated by the user who sets the reminder. A user who is the subject of a Trip Reminder does not independently approve or decline individual Trip Reminder requests.
Trip Reminder can only be set for contacts with whom the user has already established mutual location sharing.
A user who does not wish to be subject to Trip Reminder checks may stop participating by disabling location sharing, adjusting location permissions, or revoking background location access in their device settings. Doing so will prevent further Trip Reminder monitoring.
A user who is subject to a Trip Reminder cannot disable individual Trip Reminder checks independently. The only way to prevent such checks is to disable location sharing or adjust location permissions at the device level.
We use your account information to create and manage your user profile, communicate with you regarding your account, and provide support.
We use device and usage data to understand how the App is being used, identify areas for improvement, and enhance functionality.
If you contact us for support or have inquiries, we may use your personal information to respond and assist with resolving any issues.
We are committed to securing your personal information and protecting it from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We implement industry-standard encryption to secure your location data during transmission.
However, please note that no method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee complete security of your data.

Trip Reminder status is shared only with the user who created the reminder.

We may share your data with third parties when you explicitly consent to such sharing, such as when you choose to share your location data with other users.
We retain your location data and other personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy. If you deregister your account, we will delete all associated data from our systems.
